James Slocum – owner and operator of A1 Locksmith for the last 20 years was born and raised in Stamford. Jim learned the art of locksmithing outside of Hollywood Ca,  in Echo Park in the mid 80s with a father and son team. Then later moved to Paris, France where he did French Theatre for awhile and also studied European locks. When not working in the theatre he worked with a Parisian Locksmith.
